We are excited to finally announce that we will be collaborating with SpeakUnique to save voices for people in the UK who are at risk of losing their voice due to treatment for head and neck cancer. SpeakUnique will join our providers Acapela and Vocalid.
The charity’s mission is to save the voices of mouth, throat, head and neck cancer UK patients at risk of losing them due to surgery or treatment and give back the power of speech.
The Mouth Cancer Foundation will become the go to charity for patients wishing to bank their voices through a Saving Voices Grant (subject to approved criteria, terms and conditions). With the aid of modern technology, voice preservation enables individuals to communicate in a voice that reflects and preserves their unique identity. Think of it as insurance against a day when a voice is lost or unavailable for whatever reason.
