The Irish Dentistry Awards, organised by FMC, have been created to recognise dental practices that go the extra mile in customer service, dental excellence and who constantly strive to provide the very best in dental care for their patients.

Today, the leading dental practice in Cheltenham is announced as the Mouth Cancer Foundation’s ‘Practice of the Month’ for February.   The team has proven they go above and beyond to implement the charity’s Mouth Cancer Screening Accreditation Scheme so was chosen from all dental practices across the UK who have signed up to the charity’s new scheme.  By joinin

Today we’ve been talking a lot about the Diffuse Reflectance Imaging System (DRIS) developed by a team of researchers led by Dr Narayanan Subhash from the Centre of Earth Science Studies in India which aims to increase early detection of oral cancer.

HPV Action is a group consisting of 25 patient and professional organisations that are working together to reduce the health burden of HPV. It delivers an advocacy campaign which aims to introduce gender-neutral HPV vaccination in the UK.

We are excited to announce that our 8th annual FREE Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk which took place in London’s Hyde Park on 29th September 2013 raised a staggering £51,765.50. We are indebted to all of you who came out to support the walk. Your generous donations will help us meet our objectives and provide assistance to mouth cancer patients and carers.

They encourage the public to grow a beard for the entire month and get sponsored to do so. Any Manuary participant who raises over $400 will receive a Beard Head hat and top recognition for their achievements. All funds raised during the campaign will be used locally to develop future treatments for head and neck cancers.
