Mouth Cancer 10KM Awareness Walk Was a Great Success

Saturday, 22nd September 2012 was a very important date for everyone at the Mouth Cancer Foundation.

We all met in London’s Hyde Park where the charity held its 7th annual FREE Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk designed to raise much needed funds and awareness to combat all head and neck cancers.  The walk proved to be a great success as almost 800 walkers turned out to ‘step out and make a difference.’

Simultaneously, our colleagues in Australia held their first Australian Mouth Cancer Foundation 10 KM Awareness Walk around The Tan at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne. The walk in Australia was an informal event which marked the charity’s first step towards raising awareness of mouth cancer in the country.
