The Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk is about completing 10 KM…. Some amazing individuals are taking this further and walking 10 K a day over the two months of the walk…That’s 59 days or 590 KM to be precise!

Our second 10 K A Day walker is nurse Diane Treadwell from Essex.   Diane is friends with Mouth Cancer Foundation supporter and cancer survivor Karen Liesching-Schroder.  Through their friendship, Diane understands first hand about mouth cancer and how to help her patients in general practice.

Diane will either walk or run each 10 K, mostly in the early mornings before work!  She will then take it a little easier at the weekends by walking with her husband Mark and dog Marley.   On two dates, 10th October and 15th November, Diane will take part in two different walks with 5 others from her running group - Flyers Southend.
