Charity Project Awards 2020
The Charity Project Awards 2020, supported by Straumann, will reward the extraordinary efforts of groups of people or not for profit organisations, both in and outside healthcare professionals, who work tirelessly to raise awareness and support people affected by mouth, head and neck cancers.

The Mouth Cancer Foundation exists to improve and save the lives of all head and neck cancer patients. The charity appreciates that other groups exist, which are also working hard on all manner of ways to support head and neck cancer patients, carers and survivors. For example, research, raising awareness, lobbying, promotion, developing products and education. If you are such an entity then the Mouth Cancer Foundation would like to hear about your project and understand how we can help.
This year the awards are possible courtesy of dental implant company Straumann. In 2018 Straumann recruited a group of 50 cyclists to ride an impressive 500 miles across Italy, in five days, from Lake Garda to Rome. Their efforts raised in excess of £70,000 for the charity, which in turn has enabled us to reach more organisations helping patients by launching the Charity Project Awards.
The Mouth Cancer Foundation Charity Project Awards 2019 are open to all projects that are dedicated to supporting people solely affected by head and neck cancers. There are three Mouth Cancer Foundation Charity Project Awards, sponsored by Straumann, available:
- Gold Charity Project Award £2000
- Silver Charity Project Award £1000
- Bronze Charity Project Award £500
