The Mouth Cancer Foundation is holding its first Australian Mouth Cancer Foundation 10 KM Awareness Walk on Saturday 22nd September 2012 around the Tan at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne.

The walk has been organised by Charity Trustee, Dr Geeta Perks, and her husband Jon who live in Australia where they want to continue the charity’s great work.

The walk around the Tan is an informal event designed to raise much needed awareness of all head and neck cancers. It coincides with the Mouth Cancer Foundation’s annual UK walk which is taking place in London’s Hyde Park on the same day.

The Australian Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk is a small first step in the charity’s plans to raise awareness of mouth cancer in Australia and we hope that it will be a great success.
